Bass Coast 2025 Wild Havens Volunteer Role Information

 

You will be volunteering directly for Wild Havens (www.wildhavens.ca) and not part of the Bass Coast volunteer crew. This means you won’t be asked to work in other areas of the festival. You won't get other perks regular Bass Coast Volunteer’s get like a t-shirt, food, backstage access etc.

Concierge Crew

 

What you will be doing

  • Checking in guests and finishing some tent setup Wednesday July 9th - Friday July 11th.

  • Checking out guests on Monday (July 14th) morning and starting to tear down. Finishing work by 1 PM at the latest on Monday.

  • 2 on call nights

  • Check in with bell tent guests twice a day during the festival

 

We need 4-5 volunteers to fulfill the above work. Shifts can be shared between the volunteers so the workload will be quite relaxed.

 

Compensation:

  • Bass Coast festival ticket

  • Early entry (wednesday and thursday)

  • Vehicle pass if needed

  • Plenty of time off to enjoy the festival. Camping next to the glamping area if needed.

  • There is no stipend or wage with this role.

  • No pay, food or other remuneration is included.

 The festival ticket is worth $439, early entry $169, vehicle pass $64. 

 

The ideal candidate will be

  • Reliable

  • Good with people

  • Friendly and Welcoming

  • Good with problem solving

  • Able to stay sober during shift and when on call

 

Deposit

Everyone is required to pay a $200 deposit. This is required in advance to secure your spot on the team. The deposit is returned in full at the end of your last shift.

  • We need your deposit. Etransfer to contact@wildhavens.ca 

  • Bass Coast festival tickets are sent directly to you from Bass Coast in advance by email, usually a few days before the festival starts. Make sure I have your correct name as per your ID and email address. They will ask for your ID and ticket when you are on site to get your wristband.
